To be honest, my husband and I were surprised to see Seigo Dakgalbi there as their price range is on the high side compared to other restaurants present in the building. We decided to give it a try today, and ordered somewhat simpler dishes like Bibimbab, Beef Kimbab and Toekbuki. I opted for my regular Ice Lemon Tea while the husband tried their Yache Juice.
The Bibimbab was good and enjoyable, although I wish they’d serve it on a stone hot bowl instead of the regular hot bowl since stone hot bowl retain heat longer and looks more authentic on the table. The Beef Kimbab was delicious, I love how they put just enough rice on the roll so the rice won’t over power the fillings. The Toekbuki was our least favorit food out of all three that we ordered. It was hard and not really chewy, we should’ve ordered the Odeng instead. But hey, there’s always a next time right!
Move on to the drinks, the husband ordered Yache Juice, which is their version of green juice, a mixture of vegetables and fruits. Although green juice sounds rather bland and eewish for me, their Yache Juice was actually full of flavour! My Ice Lemon Tea on the other hand, was bland and the lemon they used was old so it didn’t build up the lemony flavour to the drink.
Overall, we like the ambience, the server were courteous and helpful. If there is something I can suggest is to change the spoon with korean spoon and not the regular one as it will enhance the k-food experience.
